For more than three decades, this internship program has given hundreds of young people the opportunity to see their government in action and to also serve their fellow citizens. Im glad to work with the members of the 4th Congressional District Internship Association to continue this great tradition.

Our Nation is strengthened when young people become active participants in our democracy. Im proud to work with the 4th Congressional District Internship Association to fulfill its mission to give young people the opportunity to give back to their community.

Mission:

To provide qualified college students of Pennsylvania's 4th Congressional District an opportunity to understand and take an active part in the democratic process of our Federal Government.

Vision:

The vision of the 4th Congressional District Internship Association encompasses governmental climate and national culture, and it is designed to connect all the pieces of the system so that values and character education become a part of that achieved by those given an opportunity to participate in a U.S. Congressman's everyday transactions.

The 4th Congressional District of Pennsylvania is comprised of Adams and York counties and parts of Cumberland and Dauphin counties. The 4th Congressional District Internship Association is not supported by the U.S. House of Representatives.

The 4th Congressional District Internship Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible.*
