Interning for Congressman Scott Perry through the 4th Congressional District Internship Association has truly been a once in a life time opportunity. The unique structure of this program, allowing interns to work in a local district office as well as the Washington D.C. office, provides the opportunity to see Congressional work from every angle. Through this experience, I have been able to see the kind of impact that congressional leaders, and their staff members, can have on their communities and their country. This internship has provided me with lessons and skills that cannot be learned in a classroom setting and will help to further my career in civil service.
